Get a lawyer (maybe someone will represent you pro bono? Breeders should NOT be allowed to take the puppy just for more breeding. Get puppy desexed then breeder can no longer use him for breeding

Do not give him back to the breeders. They sold him to the lady that abandoned him, so their vetting is not up to scratch. Their in the wrong, they want him back to make more $$$ out of him. They should be investigated with their vetting process

The lady that abandoned that puppy in the Uber was trying to relinquish all responsibility for it and ownership of it. When you found the puppy in the back seat and informed the Uber driver, he called his previous fare,which was the puppy's owner. She asked him if he could take the puppy. He replied that he could not, since his living conditions could not accomidate the puppy. Then you stepped up and offered to take full ownership of the puppy. As far as who has ownership of the puppy it is you Dog Daddy. It is not the breeders nor the female who said that she could not affod the puppy. She left it in the Uber for that particular Uber driver because she said that he looked like a kind respectable man. She was trying to relinquish all responsibility and ownership of the. Puppy and you accepted that offered responsibility and ownership. That was the verbal agreement.

This is very common. Responsible breeders have contracts with their puppy buyers and those contracts usually stipulate that if for ANY reason the puppy is not wanted by the owner, the puppy goes back to the breeder. I have had contracts with the breeders on all my dogs and each one stipulated this. My youngest dogs contract even stipulates that I will not have him neutered until he is collected and over 2 years old.

No, where the heck were they when she abandoned him in the back of the Uber, let them get a lawyer and because u can’t give away a dog and then that person abandons it some on else takes it in and then the person that originally gave it away comes back to claim ownership. Tell them to take u to court. Or give them an exorbitant price that they can buy him back for, so they will change their minds.

That sweet dog was clearly abandoned. He was not given back to the breeder by that girl. The breeder can take a hike. Don't let them intimidate you. They call again, tell him you'll see him in court with your lawyer. There's nothing more to say.
